AI sports predictions, kept honest
About Alphr
Alphr is a machine-learning platform that prices up AFL, NRL and Super League, with NFL and NBA matches coming soon, flags where the market looks wrong, and keeps a public record of how the models actually go. Wins and misses, all of it.
Why I built Alphr
I'm Ben, and Alphr is what happens when a lifelong sports obsession runs headfirst into a habit of building things.
My first proper brush with odds came early on, and the numbers stuck. Years later, building my own model to price up matches felt less like a hobby and more like something I was always going to do anyway.
So that's what Alphr is. Real data and AI aimed at the games I love, with one rule I refuse to break: when a model gets a call wrong, it says so. No tipster bravado, no cherry-picked screenshots. Just the numbers, the reasoning, and a track record you can check for yourself.
I'm a sports tragic to the core. I bleed red and white for the Dragons and the Swans, fly the green and gold for the Packers, and I'll always back the Sixers, usually against my better judgement.
How the models work
Every prediction comes from a multi-model XGBoost ensemble trained on 18+ years of data, validated on a held-out season, and blind-tested on the most recent completed season before it ever goes live. Picks are edge-filtered, so a play is only flagged when the model's probability beats the market's implied price. See the live track record any time.
A quick note on betting
Alphr publishes data, ratings and predictions. It doesn't take bets, hold money, or run any wagering account, and it has no commercial relationship with any bookmaker. Every selection is informational, so bet only with licensed operators, and only what you can afford to lose. If gambling stops being fun, call 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au. 18+.
