More Than a Museum

The Trout Museum of Art inspires and connects people through creative experiences and the visual arts. Located in downtown Appleton, the museum is a space where visitors of all ages can engage with art in meaningful ways.

Through rotating exhibitions featuring local, national, and international artists, year-round classes and camps, hands-on programs, and community events, the museum offers opportunities for learning and connection. Signature events like Art at the Park bring thousands of people together to celebrate the arts, while free admission through 2026 ensures that everyone can experience the museum.

Visitors can also shop the Museum Store’s collection of artist-made and design-inspired goods and enjoy coffee, food, drinks, and conversation at the Drinkery, the museum’s café and gathering space.
