About Our Jewelry Store

Welcome to A. J. Klein Jewelers where we treat customers like family. Our tradition is to provide personalized service, a caring and knowledgeable staff and a comfortable atmosphere. We believe every customer deserves the same high level of care and attention. The Klein family has been servicing Fairfield and New Haven Counties since 1955. Our humble beginnings started when Andrew and Gloria Klein opened a jewelry repair shop in Bridgeport Connecticut. In 1982, with their son Alan, they moved to Shelton to open a retail store, where they formed long lasting relationships with their customers. In 1992, Alan and his wife Michele took over the business and continue to strive to provide the same exceptional service. Alan, a second-generation jeweler and GIA Graduate, brings passion, expertise and a creative ability to design and redesign jewelry for his customers.

A.J. Klein Jewelers has a full-service repair department on the premises. We provide expert repairs, custom designs, jewelry appraisals, engraving, pearl & bead restringing, ear piercing and watch repair services. We stand behind the quality of our jewelry and the high level of workmanship on all repairs. We carry GIA certified diamonds, fine jewelry, watches, silver fashion jewelry and gifts. We pride ourselves on our expertise and knowledge of the diamond business, understanding that for many, an engagement ring is the first major purchase most young couples make. We educate and guide couples through the process of choosing the right diamond and a setting as unique and as special as their love, all the while respecting and working within their budget.

As members of Jewelers Of America, we uphold high standards of ethical practices. Business is conducted with honesty, sincerity, truthfulness, integrity and transparency. On behalf of the Klein family, we would like to thank our customers for the support and fabulous friendships we've enjoyed throughout the years. It would be an honor to serve new customers and we welcome you to our Klein jewelry family.
