And just like that, my youngest baby is 6 years old. Happy birthday to the coolest guy with the biggest heart and the Knicks #1 fan. I love being your mom! 🥰

Writing this post brought back so many wonderful Philly memories. From moving here with my then fiancé and now husband for what we believed would be one year, to now raising our three children in this beautiful city. Philly friends - what would you add to this list?

I’m excited to introduce you to Before You Know

I’m excited to introduce you to Before You Know It, a newsletter about traveling with kids. Ever since we took our first family trip when my daughter was six months old, I fell in love with traveling with my little family. Everything feels new and exciting through a child’s eyes. When we travel together, I feel like I’m seeing the world with fresh eyes, too.

If you’ve ever planned a trip with kids, you know the excitement, and the chaos that can come with it. My goal with this newsletter is to make travel with kids feel not only possible, but magical, through honest storytelling, well-researched tips, and a stylish lens.

Before You Know It is the newsletter I want hitting my inbox every week, filled with tangible travel diaries, real how-to guides for flying with kids without losing your sanity, what’s worth your time and what you can skip, along with all the things I’ve learned along the way.

Coming soon: a Barcelona and Costa Brava family friendly travel diary, a road trip to Maine, and how to spend a weekend in Philadelphia (the list I send to my friends!). I hope you’ll join me for the journey. Link in stories. 💕

I can’t even begin to explain the magic of having two days of 1 on 1 time with my daughter. We loved our weekend away together and still talk about it weeks later.

The one thing I keep coming back to is floating in the pool, eating fries and listening to her tell me all the things on her mind. I loved every minute of it. 😍

I remember you on the beach in your Sunshine Girl

I remember you on the beach in your Sunshine Girl swimsuit. The little plant favors at your 1st birthday party with a sign that you’re growing up. You kissing my belly when I was pregnant with your brother. Dropping you off at school and you running back for one more hug. Laying in bed with you at night while you tell me everything on your mind. I remember you asking me to watch you brush your teeth so we can spend a few more minutes together before you go to sleep. Dressing up in tutus and playing tea party. Running through the splash pad at Dilworth Park. You laughing fearlessly on the swing carousel ride. The smile on your face when I would surprise you with croissants after ballet class. I remember when you told everyone at your 5th birthday party that you wanted to be a mommy when you grow up. I remember the rides home from school and hearing about your best and worst parts.

You are a dream come true. As I look through these photos and cry because you’re growing up fast, only one thought comes to mind - how much love and laughter you have brought into our lives. You’ll always be our sunshine girl and I love being your mama. Happy 9th birthday! 🤩

I wore this one item of clothing every day for the full week we were in Paris - a trench coat! Despite the weather app indicating it would be 70 and sunny all week, we had rain everyday. Paris in the rain is beautiful and romantic - as long as you have a trench coat to stay dry. ☺️ Coat from @sezane 🖤

We first went to Paris in 2012 for our one year anniversary. Now we’re back 12 years later with our three kids. A full circle moment for us. 😍
