Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Partha Boruah

With over 30 years of experience in dentistry and more than 12 years leading the clinic, Dr. Partha Boruah, known to many as Dr. B, brings a whole-body perspective to oral health.

As a general dentist with focused interests in TMD treatment, craniofacial pain, and sleep-disordered breathing, Dr. B looks beyond the teeth to help patients understand the root causes of issues like clenching, grinding, and restoration breakdown. He is especially passionate about educating patients on how breathing, diet, and lifestyle can affect the health of their teeth and gums. Dr. B takes the time to explain these connections so patients feel more informed and in control of their care.

Dr. B earned his B.D.S. from Regional Dental College in 1992, graduating on the Dean’s Honours List. He completed his DMD at the University of Manitoba in 2007 with honours and multiple scholarships. In 2013, he completed a Master of Science in Laser Dentistry from RWTH in Germany.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. B enjoys playing badminton, gardening, hiking, playing the piano, and staying active in the community.

Appointment Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We value our patients’ time and busy schedules, and we know that life sometimes gets in the way. Please note: We require 2 business days’ notice for any changes or cancellations to your appointment. This allows us to offer the time we had reserved for you to another patient who may be interested in this appointment time.

Please call us directly to speak with us if you need to reschedule. We’re unable to process cancellations through email or voicemail. A $50 fee will be charged to your account for not honouring this policy. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Insurance & Payment Information

It’s very important to us that your dental care is affordable. That’s why we follow prices laid out in the Alberta Fee Guide (PDF). We also accept Canadian Dental Care Plan patients, making dental care more accessible to a wider range of Canadians.

We accept most major insurance providers. For costs not covered by your insurance, we accept cash, cheque, debit, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.

We also provide interest-free payment plans for dental procedures. Please call us or speak to us during your appointment to learn about your options.

Additional Insurance Policy Information

Our team will always do its best to help you maximize your benefits. Please note that your treatment plan is individually tailored to your specific oral health diagnosis and is not based on your particular dental insurance benefits or coverage.

In some cases, insurance companies may decide that certain services will not be covered. It’s your responsibility to thoroughly understand the coverage and exceptions to your particular policy.

As a courtesy to our insured patients, we will submit your dental insurance claim forms on your behalf and request that your insurance pay the clinic directly. You are responsible for the payment of any co-insurance portions not covered by your insurance plan at the time of treatment.

Any payments made directly to you by your insurance company for unpaid balances should be forwarded immediately to our office, so your account can be credited accordingly.

Your claim will be filed immediately, and your insurance company normally pays your benefits within 30 days.

The filing of an insurance claim does not relieve you of timely payment on your account. Any unpaid balance not covered by insurance will automatically become your responsibility, and a statement will be issued to you for the unpaid amount. The clinic will not assume responsibility for charges incurred that may not be covered by insurance.
