About Us
Pernod Ricard India Foundation (PRIF), a Section 8 company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, is the wholly owned CSR arm of Pernod Ricard India, created to advance the company’s commitment to inclusive social, economic, and environmental development in communities around its operations and beyond.
All CSR initiatives are implemented in alignment with Section 135 of the Companies Act and Schedule VII, within India, and are designed to benefit marginalised and disadvantaged communities while supporting national development priorities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Guided by Pernod Ricard India’s CSR Vision 2030 — “Transforming communities and accelerating local development”, PRIF is working to positively impact 1 million lives by 2030 through its unified CSR platform, PRavah.
The foundation drives sustainable, inclusive, and measurable change by combining innovation, community engagement, and ecosystem partnerships across India. PRIF’s interventions are anchored in four key thematic areas: -
- Social Innovation & Circularity: Advancing climate-smart agriculture, circular economy solutions, plastic recycling, and safe waste ecosystems through incubation, partnerships with leading institutions, and on-ground behaviour change initiatives.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Enabling opportunities for women, tribal communities, LGBTQI+ persons, and persons with disabilities through livelihoods, education access, and youth development in sports and culture.
- Water, Agriculture, Livelihoods (WAL): Strengthening water security, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and farmer incomes—supported by large-scale water structures and Farmer Producer Organisation engagement.
- Quality Healthcare & WASH: Expanding access to primary healthcare, sanitation, hygiene, and preventive care for rural communities, schoolchildren, and mobile worker populations. Together, these efforts place people, planet, and long-term community resilience at the centre of Pernod Ricard India’s CSR journey.
