It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 27^th EUROPEAN NITROGEN CYCLE MEETING & XVI NATIONAL MEETING OF NITROGEN METABOLISM (NITROGEN 2024) which will be held in Granada (Spain) from October 1 to 4, 2024. Researchers from the Estación Experimental del Zaidín (EEZ) belonging to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in collaboration with professors from the University of Granada (UGR) are participating in the organization of this event, which will take place at the Hotel Abades Nevada Palace.

The conference will bring together researchers with interdisciplinary expertise covering basic and applied research with a common interest in the nitrogen cycle. Our main objective is to contribute to the protection of the environment and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions derived from the biological processes involved in nitrogen metabolism ocurring in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. This event aims to stimulate knowledge exchange and interaction between researchers and private companies interested in promoting a sustainable agriculture and human health. Graduate and post-graduate students are encouraged to attend.
