Our Story
How a boutique real estate firm grew up in Nashville, one client and one neighbourhood at a time.
Post & Company Real Estate opened its doors in Nashville in 2013. The founder had spent years in the local market before that, first learning the city block by block and then deciding that the next step was not a bigger office but a different kind of one. The idea was simple enough to fit on a business card: treat every client like a neighbour, not a transaction number.
A firm built around service
Middle Tennessee has more than a hundred real estate firms, and most of them look and sound the same. From the beginning the plan here was to do a few things differently. No stuffy biographies, no tired jargon, no pressure to sign before you are ready. The firm grew slowly and deliberately, adding agents who shared that view rather than agents who simply closed the most deals, and it built its reputation on referrals from people who had already bought or sold with us.
Nashville, street by street
A boutique firm cannot be everywhere, so we concentrate on the neighbourhoods we know well: 12 South and Belmont-Hillsboro, East Nashville, Green Hills, Sylvan Park, and the communities along the Williamson County line. Knowing which streets flood, which schools are zoned where, and which historic homes have good bones is the kind of knowledge that does not come from a listing feed. It comes from years of walking those streets with clients.
What has not changed
The market has changed enormously since 2013. Prices, inventory and the speed of a sale look nothing like they did then. What has not changed is the way we work: honest advice, prompt calls back, and a preference for long-term relationships over quick closings. The specifics are written down on the Our Promise page, the people are introduced on the Our Team page, and past clients speak for themselves on the Testimonials page.
