The Heart Behind GraceLight

One mission. Many facets. All for His glory.

The GraceLight story
How It Began

From Wounds to a Calling

GraceLight Productions was not born in a boardroom — it was born in the quiet, painful places where Rich and Dawn Dalton encountered God's relentless grace. Their own journeys through brokenness, identity loss, and healing became the foundation for a ministry that refuses to look away from hard stories.

What started as a desire to tell honest, redemptive stories through film grew into a full media and ministry company — producing content, speaking at events, and creating resources that meet women exactly where they are and walk them toward wholeness.

The name says it all: Grace — the unearned, undeserved love that transforms. Light — the truth that exposes darkness and illuminates the path forward. Together, they are the heartbeat of everything GraceLight does.

What Drives Us

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To create faith-based media and ministry experiences that confront the lies people believe about themselves, expose the wounds they carry in silence, and lead them into the healing, identity, and freedom that only truth can bring — through film, speaking, and a kids ministry that plants seeds of faith in the next generation.

Our Vision

We envision a world where stories don’t just entertain—but awaken. Grace Light Productions was created to be a multi-faceted light—producing films, media, and creative experiences that pierce through darkness and illuminate truth. Every project is crafted with purpose: to restore identity, ignite hope, and call people back to who they were always meant to be. One mission. Many facets. All for His glory.

What We Stand On

Our Core Values

Healing

We believe every wound has a purpose. Our work creates space for honest, Spirit-led healing — not performance or pretense.

Storytelling

Stories are sacred. We craft media that honors the complexity of the human experience and points toward redemption.

Truth

We speak the truth that sets free — even when it's uncomfortable. Lies lose their power when light enters the room.

Identity

At the core of our ministry is the conviction that every woman is seen, known, and deeply loved by God — and that identity changes everything.

Foundations of Belief

Our Faith, Our Message

At GraceLight Productions, our faith isn't simply part of what we do — it is the foundation of why we do it. As a family, we believe the Word of God is our foundation and Jesus Christ is at the center of our message. We recognize that churches and believers may differ on certain theological matters while remaining united in Christ. We welcome thoughtful questions about what we believe and what stands behind our teaching.

Do you believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still active today?

Yes. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active today and that every believer receives the Holy Spirit at salvation. Through Him, we have access to the gifts of the Spirit according to His will. We believe the Holy Spirit distributes and manifests His gifts according to His will and for His purposes.

Do you believe speaking in tongues is necessary for salvation?

No. We do not believe speaking in tongues is necessary for salvation or proof of genuine salvation. We believe a person can genuinely belong to Christ without having spoken in tongues. For some believers, understanding and learning to operate in the gifts of the Spirit develops over time. Our salvation rests in Jesus Christ — not in the manifestation of a particular spiritual gift.

What do you believe about divine healing?

We believe God is good and that it is His will to heal. We believe sickness and death are realities of living in a fallen world and are not reflections of God's character. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus demonstrated the Father's heart by healing the sick, and He commissioned His followers to minister healing. We believe in praying boldly for healing and trusting God even when what we see does not yet match what we have prayed.

If someone isn't healed, does that mean they didn't have enough faith?

No. We believe faith matters, and Scripture gives examples in which unbelief affected what was taking place. However, we do not believe it is appropriate to look at someone who has not experienced healing and conclude that they simply didn't have enough faith. When we don't see the outcome we prayed for, we don't change what we believe about God's goodness. We continue to pray, trust Him, and grow in faith and understanding.

What do you believe about prosperity and God's provision?

We believe God is an abundant and generous Father and that His children have access to His provision and blessing. We don't define prosperity simply by money — God's provision can touch every area of our lives: spiritual, relational, practical, and financial. We believe we are blessed to be a blessing. Abundance isn't simply about having more for ourselves. It increases our ability to give, meet needs, advance God's Kingdom, and bless others. We do not believe poverty reflects God's heart, and we also believe God is a God of redemption and restoration when things have been lost or stolen.

Do you believe giving financially brings a harvest?

We believe in the biblical principle of sowing and reaping, including in the area of finances. Second Corinthians 9:6–11 describes God supplying seed to the sower, multiplying what is sown, and providing abundance so that believers can continue being generous. We believe we can sow in faith and trust God for the harvest. However, we don't believe giving is a formula for controlling God or obligating Him to produce a particular dollar amount. The purpose of the harvest isn't simply accumulation — it is greater capacity for generosity and Kingdom impact.

What do you mean when you talk about "speaking" or "declaring"?

We believe in speaking and declaring God's Word, but we do not believe our words independently create whatever material outcome we desire. For us, declaration is about agreement with God's truth. Much of our ministry centers around identifying the lies we have believed and recognizing what we have come into agreement with. We teach people to speak God's truth instead of agreeing with a lie. Our words do not control God — rather, we want our thoughts, beliefs, and words to come into agreement with what He has said.

What is the foundation of your teaching?

Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Our heart is to point people toward truth, freedom, identity in Christ, and a deeper relationship with God. Experiences, traditions, feelings, and circumstances never take the place of Scripture as our foundation. We don't expect every believer or every church to express their faith identically. But we believe there is tremendous value in being transparent about what we believe, especially when we're invited to serve another church or ministry. If you're a pastor, ministry leader, or event organizer considering GraceLight Productions or Dawn Garza Dalton for your church or event, we welcome your questions and would be honored to have a conversation with you.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed."
