The latest from KotaMota Games and the XenoFeels community, rounded up in one place.
Last updated: Sep 8, 2026
XenoFeels does not have a drip-feed of daily headlines — it is a focused indie project from KotaMota Games with a full release pending on Steam. But when something real does happen, it is usually worth knowing: a new patch, a trailer, a developer note on what is coming next. This page is where we collect that signal across all the official channels and the community around them, so you do not have to check each source individually.
Where KotaMota Posts
KotaMota Games maintains confirmed official channels for XenoFeels: X (Twitter), Bluesky, Telegram, VK, and an official Discord server. Those are where developer updates, patch announcements, and release-window notes appear. These are the only verified official channels we point at.
There is an official XenoFeels Discord at discord.gg/8BUuvbA4Mu. KotaMota first linked to it inside the game's pause menu in the June 16, 2026 patch and now lists it from the official announcements too. Treat any other "XenoFeels Discord" you find as fan-run unless it matches that invite.
The XenoFeels Steam store page (app 4293910) is also a primary source — store page updates, event listings, and patch notes show up there directly. For day-to-day developer voice, though, the social channels are where it lives.
What to Watch For
Through 2026, a handful of XenoFeels announcements are worth specifically watching for:
- A locked release date. Right now XenoFeels is pinned to 2026 with no specific day. The moment that narrows, it will be the biggest XenoFeels news of the year.
- New patches. The June 16, 2026 Small Fixes patch and the removal of the jump action show KotaMota is shipping real changes to the demo build. Each patch tends to come with a short note worth reading.
- Trailer drops. XenoFeels's hand-drawn art is the first thing most people notice, and new trailers are the main way that gets showcased. Watch for release-window trailers in particular.
- Full-game feature reveals. The demo shows part of the loop. As the full release approaches, expect more about what is beyond the demo — new inspection scenarios, story scope, and any systems not yet public.
For confirmed patch notes specifically, the Updates page is a cleaner feed than this one. News here is broader: developer voice, community coverage, and media that is not strictly a patch.
Community Coverage
XenoFeels has started picking up creator coverage, including gameplay videos on YouTube from creators who have recorded the demo. We treat those as community signal rather than official sources — useful for seeing the game in motion and hearing real reactions, but not authoritative on mechanics or release details.
Creator clips and VTuber reactions are a fun way to discover XenoFeels, but they are reactions, not walkthroughs. For mechanics and release facts, the Demo Guide, How to Play, the Steam store, and KotaMota's own channels are the source of record.
Where it makes sense, we reference creator coverage generically as jumps or embeds rather than hosting it. The same verification rule applies: a creator saying something does not make it a fact about XenoFeels. We only surface creator claims once they are cross-checked against an official source, and we flag anything still unverified.
If you make XenoFeels content and want it on our radar, the best path is the same one we use for everything else: it has to be checkable against the Steam store or an official KotaMota channel before it shows up here as anything more than community discussion.
How We Verify
Every XenoFeels news item on this site has to clear the same bar as the rest of the wiki: it is verified against the official Steam store page, one of the official KotaMota channels listed above (X, Bluesky, Telegram, VK, or the official Discord), or a primary source KotaMota points at. If we cannot tie a claim to one of those, we either do not run it or we explicitly flag it as unverified.
Rumors get flagged, not laundered. If a third-party site reports a release date or a feature that KotaMota has not confirmed, we will tell you it is a rumor, explain where it came from, and avoid presenting it as fact. That is the same approach we take on the Updates and Release Date pages.
The result is intentionally slower than a hype feed. XenoFeels news on this page will lag social media by a beat, but when it does appear you can trust it. For the fastest raw signal, watch the official channels directly; for the signal with the noise filtered out, watch here.
ℹ️ Track the patches and the date
For confirmed XenoFeels patch notes in order, see the Updates page. For the release status and what could move it, see the Release Date page. This News page is the broader signal layer on top of both.
XenoFeels is a small project doing something distinctive — a hand-drawn sci-fi horror spin on the inspection genre — and the news cycle around it will stay modest until the full release approaches. When it picks up, this is the page that will carry it, with the same verification standard the rest of the wiki uses.
