How has your summer been?  I hope it has been a good one.  We are praying for so many friends across the country that have endured flooding.

We are so grateful for the Blessing of great friends who turned out to kickoff our summer at CMA Fest, helping us raise another 30-thousand dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  The entertainment was out of this world.  I was proud to stand on that stage at the 12th annual Country With Heart benefit.  And we will do it again, next year!  Add Saturday, June 12th to your calendars.  I hope you can be there for the fun and a great cause.

If you missed it, I also released a new song to radio this summer.  It is called, “Cowboy Coffee.”  I wrote it with the legendary Wood Newton (“Riding with Private Malone,” “Bobby Sue” and numerous hit songs).  Let me know what you think. It is all about having a drink together..a different kind of drink that brings enlightening conversations and friendships.

Here is a link to the song.  https://open.spotify.com/album/0c2sfWX9GZ7s9sLlbHEV7y?si=u2ZWzJ8GRxK3Xa6oZ7drNg&utm_source=copy-link&nd=1&dlsi=60885d5ae1564ccf

I have been busy behind the scenes songwriting and recording and lining-up up some huge festival events I hope to share soon.

I am excited for September.  I will be back at the Floresville Opry with “the best” dancers.  I will also be out at Texas Pride for BBQ, fun and more dancing.  And then off to the world famous Gruene, Texas for a cool show at the winery.

And I have another big songwriters’ round at The Bluebird Cafe.  Check the ‘Appearances’ page for all of the specifics.  And message me on Facebook with any questions.  Can’t wait to see everyone.
