Yes. If your DSC token has an organisation certificate, PDFSign shows it as a signing option alongside your personal certificate. The visible signature stamp on the PDF page shows your name and signing date. The organisation name is visible inside the signature certificate details — anyone who opens the Signatures panel in Adobe Acrobat Reader will see your name, organisation, and issuing CA in the validation panel.

Yes. PDFSign includes a Signature & Stamp Image mode. You can upload a PNG/JPG of your handwritten signature or company rubber stamp and embed it visually on any PDF page — no USB token required for this mode.

Yes. PDFSign lets you set PDF permissions — restrict printing, editing, and content copying — and optionally add a document open password. These restrictions are enforced by Adobe Acrobat and compatible viewers.

An optional RFC 3161 timestamp embeds a cryptographic proof of when the document was signed, obtained from a trusted Timestamp Authority (TSA) server. That lets a reader see the signature was made while your certificate was still valid, instead of relying on the clock on your PC. It is not long-term validation (LTV): PDFSign does not embed revocation data (OCSP/CRL) or a /DSS dictionary, so a verifier still fetches revocation information itself. The timestamp is also best-effort — if the TSA is unreachable, PDFSign tells you and completes the signature without one.

PDFSign warns you before you sign if your certificate has expired, so you're never caught off guard. If you had RFC 3161 timestamps on previously signed documents, those signatures remain valid. You'll need to renew your DSC from your CA to sign new documents.

Yes. PDFSign works on any Windows PC worldwide. If you hold an Indian DSC token issued by a CCA-licensed CA, you can sign Indian government documents from anywhere — UAE, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or any other country. The software has no geo-restriction.

PDFSign has a built-in Verify function. You can also open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and check the Signatures panel — it will show the certificate chain, signing time, and validity status. Signed PDFs also display a blue ribbon in Adobe when the signature is valid.
