What is a "Document Credit"?
In BriefTech, Document Credits are the currency used to process your documents for bundling.
- One (1) Document Credit covers all key processing stages for one (1) uploaded document.
- If the document is lengthy, additional rules may apply (see next FAQ for details).
How does the file size or page count of my document affect the number of Document Credits used?
Document Credits are based on document length, since AI-powered processing (e.g., summarization and extraction) uses more resources for larger volumes of text.
- Each document of up to 50 pages consumes 1 Document Credit.
- For every additional block of 50 pages (or part thereof), 1 extra Document Credit will be charged.
Examples:
- A 30-page document = 1 Document Credit
- A 75-page document = 2 Document Credits
- A 120-page document = 3 Document Credits
Is there an expiry date to the Document Credits?
Purchased Document Credits expire one year from the date of purchase.
What does the Free Pack include?
You receive 50 Document Credits when you create your first matter — enough to try all of BriefTech's capabilities.
