I just got say that the Mets make the right move making by keeping Andy Green and I know people are going to say that it should've Cora or Beltran but a least he got the team better I am just saying.

Been reading a number of articles re. Mets decisions and fans reaction to those decisions. The press is backhandedly castigating the fanbase for their reaction to the pile of garbage that Stearns put together. Saying its ok for the fans to register complaints about dumping Alonso, Nimmo, Diaz etc. for this year is fine but it needs to stop when next they return is putting lipstick on a pig. There needs to be an honest evaluation of the abundant failures of the current POBOand a solid plan on avoiding them in the future. The money wasted on non performance is startling. If anyone thinks that $34M for Montas, $40M for Polanco, $75M for Manaea, just to name a few blunders demonstrates the advanced statistical team creation the POBO brings to the table, I've got a bridge for sale, and its a lot less than the money the boy wonder burned up.

The sanitation of Stearns decisions is starting

What a mistake it was not signing Pete. Check out his stats.

How will the Mets fare in their four-game series against the Phillies?

Video from behind the scenes last night showing Pete Alonso meeting the guys who caught his 300th home run. They got signed baseballs, bats jerseys and shared a beer with the man of the hour. If you caught a significant HR ball, what is your asking 'price' from the team or player?

If you caught a monumental HR ball, what would you ask for in return?
