Bringing together architects, designers, corporate decision-makers, and industry leaders from around the world each year, NeoCon stands as one of the most influential global platforms shaping both the present and future of workplace design. In 2025, Nurus took part in NeoCon in Chicago, presenting its product portfolio and workplace perspective to an international audience.
As part of NeoCon 2025, Nurus introduced the Calma product family, ranging from individual focus spaces to corporate workplace solutions through a framework grounded in engineering, ergonomics, and user experience.
More Than a Booth: The Calma Experience
At NeoCon 2025, Nurus went beyond the conventional trade fair stand to create a multi-layered spatial experience. The ground-floor installation was designed as an experiential focal point centered on Calma acoustic solutions, built around the contrast between sound and silence. Supported by live performances from Chicago Bucket Boys,

the space quickly became one of the fair’s most visited stops. Just a few steps away, the Nurus showroom offered visitors a distinctly different atmosphere, transitioning from the dense, noisy energy of the fair into a controlled and isolated acoustic environment.
This transition made a clear statement: in today’s offices, comfort, focus, and acoustic quality are no longer optional features but integral components of performance. The moment visitors stepped inside a Calma unit, they experienced sound reduction and spatial isolation firsthand. This physical encounter made tangible Nurus’ approach of transforming ergonomics and well-being from abstract promises into measurable engineering standards.
During NeoCon 2025, Nurus once again demonstrated how a trade fair presence can evolve into an immersive experience. Located at the north entrance, the Calma XX Large, paired with the high-energy performances of the Chicago Bucket Boys, created a striking contrast between sound and silence, drawing significant attention and reinforcing Calma’s acoustic balance in a powerful way.
Only a few steps away, the Nurus showroom on the 10th floor at THE MART (Suite 106) offered a completely different rhythm. Moving from the lively and crowded fair environment into a calm, clear, and acoustically controlled space allowed visitors to feel how Calma frames silence not as an escape, but as a conscious and productive way of working. This transition, between the energy of the fair and the calm inside Calma, made visible Nurus’ approach to workplaces as experiences, not just designed environments.
Nurus will continue to take part in NeoCon in 2026, sharing its expanding product family, newly developed solutions, and evolving workplace vision with the international design community.
