Is there a possibility that Harbaugh (the John variety) would entertain a potential trade for him to replace Jaxon Dart now that he's essentially done for the year? I can't imagine they want to solely rely on Winston (despite how great he is as a personality).;

Potential scenario: Justin Fields to NYG

Since he was put on the PUP list, he has to miss at least the first 4 games before he can be taken off the PUP list. When he is removed from the PUP list, that opens a 21 day window. During those 3 weeks, he can return to the practice field, but does not need to be on the 53. By the end of that 21 day window, they either have to put him back on the 53, or they have to put him on the IR for the rest of the season(is my understanding)The earliest he could play is Week 6 against the Chargers. If they open the 21 day window shortly after the Raiders game, the latest he could play is Week 8 against the Broncos.Marcus Harris has been elevated for the first 2 games. He can be elevated for 1 more. A 4th, and then he needs to be put on the 53. I would assume Bryson Eason dresses out for the Raiders game(and the Chargers and Seahawks game, if needed)The team also needs an open spot on the 53 for ONL. I think the following are cut candidates to make a spot for ONL:-Bryson Eason: he was a cutdown day addition, he hasn't played a snap, and he's the same position group-Jack Pyburn: another cutdown day addition that hasn't played and is also, kinda, d-line(though he's list as LB/Edge, not DT or DE)-Jared Wiley: he's TE4, he hasn't dressed for a game yet, they've barely used TE3 Briningstool, and they also signed a Fullback.

Andre ‘Bad Moon’ Rison NFL documentary

When was the last time an NFL team took an undrafted right tackle, moved him to left tackle for the first two games of his rookie season, and saw the rookie ball out at a level that helped an offense that is all the way back? With Indiana's Kahlil Benson, the Chiefs are experiencing this exact phenomena. It's why Benson, who has looked like a five-year vet on Patrick Mahomes' blind side, made my AFC Secret Superstars for Week 2. From the article:
When the Kansas City Chiefs took Ohio State left tackle Josh Simmons with the last pick in the first round of the 2025 draft, it certainly looked like Andy Reid and his crew had added a severe amount of talent to that side of the offensive line. Simmons has all the attributes to lock things down as a blind side protector, but injuries limited him to eight games in his rookie season, and he’s currently recovering from a back issue that had him out for the first two games of the 2026 season. That would be a problem for the Chiefs, except for the fact that general manager Brett Veach had a bead on the national champion Indiana Hoosiers, and their left tackle Kahlil Benson. The undrafted Benson got a flier with the Chiefs, and impressed through the offseason enough that nobody thought twice about it when it was time to consider whether Benson could start on the left side in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos, and their cabal of ravenous pass-rushers.It was no problem at all — scheme helped to a degree, as Patrick Mahomes attempted just two passes of 20+ air yards in Kansas City’s 31-10 win. But Benson, who was thought to be a top-heavy blocker with some sloppy tendencies coming out of college, allowed no sacks, one quarterback hit, and two quarterback hurries in 34 pass-blocking reps. And when Reid opened up the passing game in KC’s 33-30 Sunday night overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts, Benson was just as ready to go. Once again, he gave up no sacks, one quarterback hit, and two quarterback hurries — this time in 52 pass-blocking reps. Moreover, Benson proved to be rough and ready in the run game — when he’s pushing the likes of DeForest Buckner around from time to time, that says a lot.

Kahlil Benson, Secret Superstar!

Small sample size, but does anyone else thing our open field tackling is the best they've ever seen, at least on the Chiefs? In the first two games there have been a number of 1 on 1 situations where the defender completely dominated. Love to see it!

Open field tackling

Chiefs lone team with top-5 offense and defense

Something I have taken away from these first two games is that most of the rookies look ready to handle a decent share of snaps. Peter Woods had something like 35 snaps against the Colts, RMT had somewhere around 25, and I would expect Delane to have a similar share of snaps in the secondary if he was healthy. I was also encouraged to see EJ10 get some looks in both the rushing attack and passing attack as well as seeing Andy Reid hinting to an uptick in snaps. I still believe Cyrus Allen can contribute this year, but I think he might be similar to RMT in that they will serve in more specialist roles such as beating man coverage situations. I would also dare to say Garrett Nussmeier has been pretty encouraging based on preseason snaps and performance, especially for a QB3.All of that being said, I think there is optimism for an increase in performance on the defensive side of the ball. I think Peter Woods still needs time to get back fully from the ankle injury he suffered in camp and Delane obviously needs to get healthy. RMT will continue to come on as a pass rush specialist and CJ95 will get healthier from his calf injury. The only real "kind of" blemish on the '26 draft class is Jadon Canady and I just think he needs a longer ramp up period before Spags trusts him in the slot, which is where he normally plays. For those concerned about the Indy offense dropping 30 on the Chiefs, I offer this: before Daniel Jones went down last year, the Colts Offense was something to be feared, averaging somewhere around 30 ppg. I would argue that their offense has more potential this year as Downs carves out a real role on offense, Tyler Warren comes into year 2, Jonathan Taylor stays dominant on all downs, and the Colts start to establish reasonable depth behind Pierce and Downs in the WR room (Dulin, K. Allen, Deion Burks, and Treadwell). Say what you want about Allen and Treadwell, but they have played this long in the NFL for a reason (Allen is obviously the better receiver). The Colts offense is certainly not elite, but they certainly know how to play us tough. All in all, I am very happy the Chiefs are 2-0 and after last year being a down year, I am reminded that close wins do not come easy. Obviously there are plenty of concerns, which several people on the AP staff have broken down already, but I have several reasons to be optimistic.Questions for the Feed:

What rookie has impressed you most so far?

What rookie do you think has the highest ceiling for this season?

What second year player has already signaled they are worth an extension?

Progression of Rookies

Trade with the Cardinals for MHJ or Jacksonville for BTJ. Give up Worthy who at this point isn’t ever going to be more than a 600 yard 4 TD per year guy. Might have to add a pick for either one.

Cardinals don't need another WR. Trey McBride and they just gave a pretty big extension to their other WR. They could use secondary help. I would give Fulton and a 3rd (maybe even a 2nd) to them for MHJ. They would be getting something as well as do a favor for a player that they clearly are not going to use to get a shot at improving his career.

Trade Xavier worthy to the niners in exchange for safety Malik Mustapha and a mid round pick. Worthy isn’t fast on the field - he’s got no spatial awareness and no burst. I think Rashee and Tyquan are better to build around while we give Cyrus Allen more snaps. Even Jalen royals. Both are more reliable and offer the offense some diversity.

Not gonna happen. Can you name a time when this Chiefs front office sold-low on a player and traded them? But fans will, there’s plenty of times where fans have been ready (usually early) to sell-low on a player, and that’s what you’re talking about with Worthy. Did you see Mahomes and Kelce celebrating with him when he scored the TD in the Colts game? Players and coaches know he’s struggling a little, but they’re also still his biggest supporters.

Well for one, other teams don’t want the bums from your team. Trades have to involve value.I’d trade Xavier worthy and a 1st and a mid round pick to the Vikings for JUSTIN JEFFERSON

Somebody earlier this week mentioned Marvin Harrison Jr. And I think that’s something interesting. I don’t know what the Chiefs would have to put together, but they should look at it:
