I’m feeling slightly less annoyed with the universe with each passing day, but clearly it’s going to be a long week. Tough to move on when you’ve got to stew in your football team’s vomit for seven days. Anyway, onwards and forwards and onwards!
NC State a 14-point favorite against App State
NC State will step back on the field Saturday as a two-touchdown favorite against App State, but watch at your own peril, apparently. SP+ has NC State by basically the same margin, and projects a 34-21 final score.
It’s a tricky matchup given how it’s sandwiched between Vanderbilt and Louisville, and of course given that it’s an in-state opponent that isn’t going to lack for motivation. But if there was one very pathetically small silver lining to come from what happened this past weekend, it’s that the Pack probably isn’t looking past what’s right in front of it.
App is 3-0 to begin this season, with a blowout win over Maine, a 27-24 win at ECU, and a 26-21 home win over Charlotte.
