When Texas votes to secede and joins the Confederacy in 1861, Texans on both sides of the issue find their lives changed forever. Undercurrents of Secession tear at the fabric of a tiny town near the banks of the Brazos River. The majority of the men in Bold Springs join up to defend the South from Yankee intrusion. So begins the saga of Will James and his increasingly difficult son, Sam; John Browder, the Confederate Chaplain with northern roots and a secret past; their wives who remain behind with nothing but faith and determination to sustain fragile hopes; and a young love held together by no more than a whispered promise at a painful parting

Upon This Rock

Biblical Principles of Church Planting

Jeff Christopherson writes, "“Upon This Rock” is a statement of confidence, not in the strength and faithfulness of man, but in the unfailing goodness and power of Jesus Christ. Bill Tinsley was used by God to remind me of this simple truth, and that reminder changed the trajectory of my life. ... If you have an ear to hear the voice of the Spirit, a heart that craves God’s hand on your life, and a passion for Jesus’ kingdom to be revealed through your surrender – then you may just have found what your soul has been searching for."
