Hello, You People. I am very excited to reveal to you all that today is a very big day. Because today, the SB Nation app is live, and it’s the best way to follow the San Francisco Giants. And, more importantly, argue about the San Francisco Giants. And, more importantly, argue about things that aren’t the San Francisco Giants.

You can download it by searching SB Nation for iOS or Android.

A year ago we made some big changes to the SB Nation communities, which included offering fewer ads and implementing the Feed in place of FanPosts. Today, we’re giving everyone even more community tools and fewer ads through an app. With that, posting Feed comments, reading articles, responding to posts and comments, and arguing about cake vs. pie is as easy as using any social media app.

You can check out the video below, which shows off some of the best features of the app, or you can jump to the handy-dandy bullet points below.

Why should I download the app?

The app will be the easiest way to interact with everybody else in the community:

  • All your favorite teams’ posts in one dedicated feed
  • Notifications when someone replies or recs your post
  • New game thread section, with an experience that’s smoother and faster
  • Fewer ads
  • Easily navigating between your favorite communities with a swipe

It will be the fastest way to read every post from our community, and also other communities, if you’re interested in following teams that aren’t awful.

How do I download the app?

Head over to the Apple store or the Android store to download the app. For the time being, the app is only available for US users.
