ADA Transition Plan
In keeping with its ongoing commitment to ensure that the City of Birmingham continues to put ALL members of the public first, the City is updating its Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) self-assessment and transition plan. The ADA Transition Plan is a comprehensive plan for improving access for individuals with disabilities to City facilities, parks, programs, services, activities, and events.
Progress you can see!
The City of Birmingham’s Department of Capital Projects is investing in accessibility improvements that make a real difference - from the Crossplex to Rickwood Field and beyond. Every curb ramp, accessible parking space, and facility upgrade brings us closer to a city that truly serves all residents.
