I don’t actually think I’m a superhero.
I mean, many people have this notion that superheroes have genetic mutations and superpowers. Neither of which I have. Unless you count being a triplet as a genetic mutation ;)

JSON-LD for SEO was built for Shopify stores in 2015 to help them add structured data, earn Rich Results, and get more traffic to their store. The app has been in continuous development since its creation in 2015 and our changelog data goes back to 2017.
My partner, Eric Davis, owned the app until 2021 when I aquired the app. Even though I wasn't the face of the app previously, I've worked in and around both the app and SEO since it's early days.
My experience with schema markup is a mixture of reading and re-reading lots of Google documents, reading my peers articles and advice, then testing to see what works and what doesn't. You see, I look at literally hundreds of Shopify stores each week and can see what changes actually make a difference.
