A GIFT and gadget retailer is making a return to Chester with a brand new store.

Menkind is opening at Eastgate Square, bringing its selection of quirky gadgets, gifts, and pop culture merchandise back to Chester after a two-year absence.

The shop will stock everything from remote control cars and gaming accessories to drones, fidget toys, and collectibles from brands such as Star Wars, Marvel, and Pokémon.

Lisa Rogers, centre manager at Eastgate Square, said: "We’re really pleased to be welcoming Menkind to Eastgate Square and back to Chester.

"It’s a fun, recognisable name with something a little different to offer, and we know it will be a great addition to the centre.

"There’s a real sense of momentum at Eastgate Square at the moment, and it’s fantastic to see another retailer choosing to be part of what’s happening here."

Rob Newman, director of retail at Menkind, said the company was eager to reconnect with shoppers in the area.

He said: "We are incredibly excited to be returning to Chester.

"It is a fantastic city, and we have missed connecting with our Cheshire customers over the past two years.

"Seeing the transformation of Eastgate Square and the influx of well-known retailers back into the centre made this the perfect time and place to re-establish our presence.

"We can’t wait to welcome the community back into our store."

The opening comes during a period of growth for Eastgate Square, with Menkind becoming the latest in a series of new retail arrivals.
