This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected or processed by the Personal Cards mobile application.

1. Information We Collect and 100% On-Device Processing

Personal Cards is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. All card data — including ID cards, membership cards, bank cards, shopping cards, and business cards — is processed, recognized (OCR), auto-cropped, and stored 100% locally on your device. We do not transmit or store your personal cards on any cloud servers.

2. Security and Biometric Protection

Your sensitive card information is protected using iOS native security features, including Face ID / Touch ID biometric authentication and secure local storage sandboxing. Nobody else — including Heavenbrook — can access your stored card data.

3. Camera and Photo Library Access

The app requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to scan, capture, or import physical cards and perform local business-card OCR. Photos taken or selected are stored exclusively within the app sandbox on your device and are never uploaded.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal card information with any third parties. All card storage and text recognition (OCR) take place locally on your device without using external APIs or third-party cloud services.

5. Ads and Analytics

• Personal Cards collects aggregate, anonymous usage statistics to improve app performance.
• No personal card data or identity information is used for targeting advertisements.
