What are the steps to apply to Trinity Private School?
The admissions process has five steps: submit an online application, attend a Family Meeting with the School Director, complete a child interview with the School Psychologist, sit entrance tests in Maths and English (Grades 2–11), and finalise registration with payment. A Family Manager will contact you within two working days of submitting your application.
What does the child interview with the School Psychologist involve — should my child prepare?
The child interview is a relaxed, play-based session conducted by the School Psychologist. It is designed to explore the child’s emotional and learning readiness in a calm, supportive setting — not to test academic knowledge. No special preparation is needed. The goal is to help the school understand how to best support your child from day one.
Are there entrance tests, and what do they cover?
Entrance tests are required for students applying to Grades 2–11. There are two short assessments — Mathematics and English — each lasting one academic hour. Grade 1 applicants do not sit written tests; their readiness is assessed through the play-based session with the School Psychologist.
Can a child enrol at Trinity mid-year, not just in September?
Yes. Trinity accepts new students throughout the academic year, subject to place availability in the relevant grade and stream. The admissions process is the same regardless of the time of year. Families are encouraged to apply as early as possible to secure a place.
What age does a child need to be to start Grade 1 at Trinity?
Children must turn six years of age before 1 September of the academic year in which they are applying to Grade 1. The final decision on enrolment in all grades is made by the Admissions Committee, and a place is confirmed only once the registration fee has been paid.
How does Trinity help new students settle in?
Trinity has a structured adaptation programme with three stages: preparation, active adaptation, and integration. Each new student receives an individual adaptation plan, personal support from a tutor and the School Psychologist, and the opportunity to attend trial days and after-school activities before their official start date.
When does the school day begin and end?
The school day starts at 8:30 in the secondary school and 9:00 in the primary school. The academic programme ends at 14:00 for the primary school and at 15:00 for the secondary school; the extended day programme concludes at 18:00.
Is school transport available?
Yes, the school provides a transportation service, making education in Limassol even more convenient for families.
