French supermarket chain Intermarché is expanding its private-label portfolio with the roll-out of nearly 100 new products, formats and innovations, hitting stores between September and October.
Among these new additions, 39 exclusive innovations promote better eating through improved nutritional ratings, gourmet and differentiating recipes, and more responsible alternatives.
The launch aims to position Intermarché’s own brands to capture 40% of total turnover within three years and become the favourite brand of French consumers.
The autumn collection centres on three core pillars: health, pleasure, and responsibility.
This latest wave brings the grocer’s total 2026 new-product launches to over 260.
Product Highlights
The retailer’s health pillar focuses on clean ingredient lists and strong nutritional ratings.
Highlights include Chabrior’s Nutri-Score A lemon and oat-raspberry biscuits – featuring French wheat and zero palm oil – alongside OK Clean beauty items (depilatory creams, hand washing gel, and deodorant) containing over 95% natural-origin ingredients and top ratings on Yuka.
The pleasure pillar delivers creative twists on everyday favourites, such as Les Créations chocolate-covered cashew nuts and almonds, Capitaine Cook canned fish, with unique flavours like dill-infused smoked salmon and tuna with green peppercorns and lemon, and Pâturages dragon fruit and passion fruit Greek-style yoghurts.
Finally, Intermarché has expanded its range of eco-friendly alternatives under the Je réduis (I reduce) brand, explicitly highlighting their reduced carbon footprints on the packaging.
This includes new floor-cleaning and dishwasher detergent sheets (which cut CO₂ emissions by up to 55%), ChoViva sunflower seed-based chocolate alternative bars (reducing emissions by 66%), and Monique Ranou plant-based wraps.
Cédric Doumenc, business manager for the Intermarché private-label department, commented, “With 100 new products in two months, we are affirming our ability to offer exclusive, accessible, and on-trend products.”
