A Total Permissible Dissolved Nitrogen Output (TPDNO) of 48 tonnes has been set until 31 July 2027 for Tassal’s Marine Farming Lease 55 at Long Bay, Port Arthur.

Consultations

Forico Pty Limited, Hummocks Quarry, Upgrade from Level 1 to Level 2 activity

The proposal is for an increase in production of rock and gravel (extraction and crushing/screening) to 10,000 cubic metres per annum produced. The quarry is located within private timber reserve land and the product will be used for road construction and maintenance. Drilling and blasting will be required to win material.

Forico Pty Ltd, Plantation Sawmill, Surrey Hills, Hampshire, Tasmania

Forico Pty Ltd propose modifying an existing woodchip mill activity at Surrey Hills, Hampshire, to include a sawmill on the same site. The sawmill will have a maximum production log capacity of 240,000 m3 per annum using timber diverted from the woodchip mill activity. The Surrey Hills site is located within Forico plantations and the woodchip mill and sawmill will share existing infrastructure, including the stormwater management system and waste stockpiles.

The Cornwall Coal Company Pty Ltd is proposing an extension to the existing Cullenswood No. 2 Mine open cut pit. The extension will utilise the existing ROM pad, amenities block, office block and stockpile area.
