Children can attend our setting with a session pattern that works for your family, however we would recommend that to get them school ready (especially in the last year before school) they attend at least 2 full day sessions.
Early start;
8am - 8:45am
Morning session;
8:45am - 11:45am
Lunchtime session;
11:45am - 12:30pm
Afternoon session;
12:30pm - 3pm
Full day session;
8:45am - 3pm
* As per our admission policy, we ask that children attend a minimum of two sessions per week on different days (this does not include just the lunch session).
Funding
At Little Dolphins we accept all types of funding, including;
- 30 hour childcare - eligible working families in England with children aged 9 months to 4 years.
- 15 hours childcare - universal for all families with children aged 3 to 4 years.
- 15 hours for 2 year old - for families receiving additional support.
We also accept childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare.

Fees and consumables
Our hourly rate (after all funding has been used) is:
2 year olds: £8.00
3-4 year olds: £7.00
Our consumable rate is:
48p per hour
£1.44 per morning
36p per lunch (£1.80 morning and lunch together)
£1.20 per afternoon
£3.00 per day
Our consumable charges include;
- Morning snack
- Sun cream
- Calpol
- Piriton
- Nappy wipes
- Extra nappies
- Nappy sacks
- Tapestry
- And any activity that is above and beyond our normal provision
Extra charges
We may ask for a one off extra charge for a special event, these events can include; Children's Christmas party, sports day etc. You will be made aware of these separately from our termly invoicing.
Please note;
That all consumable charges / extra charges are voluntary, but essential in keeping the pre-school safe and secure. The pre-school provides a morning snack to ensure that we cater for all children's dietary needs and allergies.
If you would like to opt-out of these charges please speak to the manager or administrator. If you opt-out of any of these charges, then you must provide your child with the required items at every session they attend. If you forget or do not provide these items then the pre-school reserves the right to withold the use of pre-school items being used or we will charge you for the use of these items.
