Process and Terms
How much does Klaviyo email marketing management cost?
It depends on whether you need a one-off foundational setup or ongoing monthly management, they’re structured differently. Current packages and inclusions are on the Packages page, and on a call we’ll tell you exactly which one fits, including if the answer is not yet.
Is this a one-off project or an ongoing retainer?
Both exist. A one-off setup builds your core flows once, and they keep running and selling with no further cost. Ongoing retainers add monthly strategy, new flows, campaigns and optimisation on top. Plenty of clients start with the setup and add the retainer once they see it selling.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Strategy, copy, design and build are all included in the quoted package. No surprise add-ons.
Can I pay in installments?
For one-off setup packages, usually yes, typically a deposit and a balance on completion. Ask on the call and we’ll sort something workable.
Am I locked into a long contract?
One-off setups have no ongoing commitment at all. The ongoing retainer runs on a fixed term so there’s enough runway to compound results, and you’ll know the term before you sign anything.
What happens to my flows if we stop working together?
They stay exactly as they are and keep selling. Everything is built in your Klaviyo account, owned by you. Nothing gets switched off or taken away.
What do you need from me to get started?
A filled-out brand questionnaire, about an evening’s work and reusable for any future outsourcing you do, access to Klaviyo and Shopify, and whatever brand assets you have, even messy folders are fine. After that it’s approve, feedback, approve.
How long does setup take?
Around two weeks for the foundational flows, delivered in stages so you’re approving pieces as they’re ready rather than waiting on one big reveal
Can I edit the emails myself after they're built?
Yes. The core copy lives directly inside Klaviyo, so you can tweak wording any time without asking anyone.
Something's broken, like a discount code or a strange email a customer received. Is that my problem to solve?
On a retainer, no. Forward it to us and it gets diagnosed and fixed, expired codes, broken flows, integration glitches, all of it. You come home from your day and don’t think about email.
Are you flexible with deliverables around Black Friday and Christmas?
Yes, completely. Q4 isn’t a normal period, so deliverables get reshaped around your sale calendar, more campaigns, VIP lists, whatever the season needs, planned together in advance.
Does every email get reviewed before it's sent to my customers?
Yes, every single one. Emails are built, then internally QA’d by the team, then test-sent, and only after that do they come to you for final approval. Nothing goes live to your customers without your sign-off.
I've had Klaviyo for years but never touched it. Should I fix it or start again?
Almost never start again. An audit shows what’s salvageable versus what needs rebuilding, and most accounts have far better bones than the owner assumes.
Can I set up email marketing before my product has launched?
Yes, and you should. Copy, strategy and flow structure can all be built pre-launch so you launch to a warm list instead of crickets. Product images get slotted in once photography is ready, they’re never a blocker.
