It covers 1,188 field offices, 36 resident stations and 7 card centers, checked against SSA's Office Locator on October 1, 2026, plus 159 hearing offices. Each office page gives you the address, phone, hours for every weekday and where an appeal from that office goes.</p></div></section></div><div class="body" style="max-width:var(--read)"><h2>We Are Not the Social Security Administration</h2><p>SS Office Location is a private, independent website. The Social Security Administration (SSA) doesn't run it, fund it or endorse it, and neither does any other government agency. We can't look up your record, book an appointment, take an application or tell you anything about your benefits.</p><p>For your own case, go straight to SSA at <a href="https://www.ssa.gov/" rel="noopener">ssa.gov</a> or call 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778). Each of the 159 <a href="/hearing-offices/">hearing office pages</a> lists every field office it covers.</li><li><strong>State and city pages.</strong> 56 state and territory pages carry a full office table and the state's hearing offices, and 1,626 city pages list the offices in and around each city.</li><li><strong>Two quick tools.</strong> <a href="/tools/which-office-serves-my-zip/">Which office serves my ZIP</a> shows the office SSA assigns to your ZIP code and its hearing office. <a href="/tools/do-i-need-to-visit-an-office/">Do I need to visit an office</a> tells you whether a task is done online, by phone or in person.</li><li><strong>8 guides</strong> on appointments, video service, closed or moved offices, hearings and appeals, card centers, interpreters, security rules and ZIP code assignment, written from ssa.gov.</li></ul><h2>Where the Details Come From</h2><p>Office addresses, phone numbers and hours come from <a href="https://www.ssa.gov/data/FO-RS-Address-Open-Close-Time-App-Devs.html" rel="noopener">SSA's open office data</a>. ZIP code assignments come from SSA's <a href="https://www.ssa.gov/locator/" rel="noopener">Office Locator</a>, and hearing offices from SSA's <a href="https://www.ssa.gov/appeals/ho_locator.html" rel="noopener">Hearing Office Locator</a>. Contextual display ads from Media.net pay for it. Ads never sit inside an office's details, a table or a tool, and they have no say in which offices appear or what a page says. There are no affiliate listings or lead forms.
