At a time when the conflict had reached a stalemate at the 38th parallel, theater-going emerged as a popular form of entertainment, offering an escape for those seeking a semblance of normalcy. The film reflects how life persists even amidst the devastations of warârefugees, despite having lost everything, sought solace in small joys within unfamiliar cities.

Building on this narrative, ððªð´ðµð¢ð¯ð¤ð¦ ð°ð§ ðð¢ð³ð¢ððð¦ðð´ delves into the resilience of everyday life against the backdrop of war's brutality. The work begins by deconstructing the frames of the original film into a 3D space. These frames are layered with newspaper advertisements and film posters of the era, which offer glimpses into the wartime quotidian, blurring the boundary between cinema and reality. Further, the work disrupts temporal linearity by overlapping clips from the film in non-chronological order. These clips, rotating without fixed sequence, underscore the fluidity of time, suggesting that both past and future ebb and flow within the present.

Single-channel video, black and white, silent, 1 min. 57 sec.

Image credits : âglimworkers, courtesy of Typojanchi 2023", 73 url: null, 74 cat: ["ex", "in"], 75 path: "typo23", 76 media: ["0.jpg"], 77 vimeo: null, 78 }, 79 80 { 81 title: "Alex Heeyeon Kil", 82 description: "Alex Heeyeon Kil is a Korean writer and researcher.

This website draws inspiration from the writerâs actual writing notes which was largely made up of accumulative layers of annotations and research materials which lends a scrapbook-esque quality to the end result.

At the same time, we looked to physical hardcover books to carry over their tactile and tangible characteristic to digital screens.", 83 url: "https://alexwrit.es/", 84 cat: ["w", "d", "dv"], 85 path: "alex", 86 media: ["0.mp4"], 87 vimeo: "430933957", 88 }, 89 90 { 91 title: "ORGD 2022 -
Hello I'm Designer X", 92 description: "âA patient came in.
