In 1854, the Second Reformed Presbyterian Church was founded in Newburgh. In the early 1900's it became independent and took on a new name, Westminster Reformed Presbyterian. The church grew and prospered and was known for its faithful preaching and teaching, its missionary support, and its evangelical outreach.</p> 129 130<p> In 1977, the church relocated to its current building in a beautiful setting on Station Road in Rock Tavern. And in 1982, the church joined the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). With these changes the church saw dynamic growth in its varied ministries and to this day enjoys a thriving community life.</p> 131 132<p> Thus, Westminster is a proven, historically-tested
132witness to the glorious gospel of grace in the region. We are a traditional church whose worship is ever ancient, yet ever new and relevant to the needs of modern men and women.
