Throughout the centuries, ancient Uzbekistan's history witnessed the existence of major scientific centers and libraries at the courts of rulers. These places were devoted to the creation of manuscript books by great thinkers of the East who made significant contributions to the development of world civilization.",description:`The number of created masterpieces is immense, but they have yet to be fully appreciated due to various objective reasons, as the manuscripts themselves are currently scattered across different countries worldwide. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has elevated the study and preservation of the cultural heritage of the Uzbek people to the level of state policy. The President has implemented a series of important measures aimed at further improving the storage system, research, and popularization of ancient written sources. In the New Uzbekistan, the time has come to implement numerous projects aimed at gathering the most comprehensive information about the written monuments created on our land. In support of the initiatives of the head of state, the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Promotion of Cultural Heritage and the multimedia project "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the Collections of the World" are conducting multidirectional work on cataloging the diverse heritage preserved in libraries, museums, and private collections in different countries around the world. This project is a vivid example of the consolidation of public, governmental, international scientific organizations, as well as socially responsible businesses in implementing the initiatives of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the preservation, study, and promotion of Uzbekistan's cultural heritage. One of the most important directions of this endeavor is collecting information about manuscript masterpieces held in various collections around the world. This project naturally evolved into the idea of publishing facsimiles of famous manuscripts created either within the territory of Uzbekistan or by authors connected to Uzbekistan by their origins, even if they lived beyond its borders. Thus, a new direction of the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Promotion of Uzbekistan's Cultural Heritage emerged â the project "Outstanding Manuscript Masterpieces of the Land of Uzbekistan." This magnificent facsimile edition provides broad access to these unique cultural monuments, not only for researchers in Uzbekistan and other countries but, importantly, also creates opportunities for the study of these manuscripts by representatives of the younger generation. By the present time, the World Society, which has brought together around 400 scientists and media personalities from 35 countries worldwide, has already published a series of facsimiles. These include the "Osman Quran" (or "Kattalangar Quran"), "Timur Tuzuklari" ("The Memoirs of Timur"), "Rawdat al-Safa" ("Garden of Purity"), and "Divan-i Huseyni" from the collection of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts in St. Petersburg. Additionally, the "Mirajname" from the collection of the French National Library and miniatures from the "Zafar-name," a historical work by Sharaf al-Din Yazdi describing the biography of Amir Timur, from the collection of the British National Library have been published. The highest quality copies of facsimile pages of Uzbekistan's manuscript masterpieces are provided by the Austrian publishing house Mueller&Schindler. These living pages bear witness to our glorious past and return to the Homeland in the form of copies, awakening historical memory, calling upon the youth of Uzbekistan to live up to the highest scientific and cultural potential of their ancestors, and nurturing new generations in the traditions of humanism and openness to new knowledge.`},b={title:"100 Outstanding Handwritten Masterpieces",caption:`The life-time manuscripts of Navoi, the renowned work "Canon of Medicine" by Ibn Sina from the Vatican Library, and the fragments from the foundational works of al-Khwarizmi from the Bodleian Library. However, it all began with an experimental project and a joint initiative of the World Society under the leadership of Firdavs Abdukhalikov and Global Digital Heritage (USA) headed by Herbert Maschner. The combined technical team of specialists from the USA and Uzbekistan conducted a mission and, within 12 days, captured 73,000 photographs and performed 1,321 laser scans in Samarkand alone! The experts scanned the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, the Gur-e Amir mausoleum and the crypt beneath it, as well as the massive statues of Amir Timur in Samarkand, Shakhrisabz, and Tashkent. In Shakhrisabz, they documented the memorial complex of Amir Timur and the Ak-Saray Palace. The team spent four days at the Registan Square, primarily focusing on external scanning of the museum, mosque, and other structures. Today, the 3D Printing Department of the World Society is creating models of the finest architectural monuments of Uzbekistan. With meticulous precision, they have already completed models of the Mir-i Arab Madrasah, the ancient citadel of Bukhara Ark, the monument of Amir Timur in Tashkent, the Sher-Dor Madrasah, the historic center of Khiva's Ichon-Qala, the Registan Square in Samarkand, and many others.",vr:"VIRTUAL TOURS (VR)",main_section_title:"Would you like to have a tour of the most interesting places in Samarkand without leaving your home? A creative and technical team consisting of over 100 leading domestic and international historians, art experts, designers, writers, poets, 3D mapping specialists, directors, and cameramen accomplished the impossible: they created a unique project that tells the entire history of Uzbekistan in just 20 minutes.",mapping_description:`Similar shows are common around the world, but they are not based on real historical events. In this production, maximum authenticity is preserved: each artifact shown in the show is digitized from the original. It is not just a show, it is a grand historical spectacle that allows guests to not only witness special effects but also trace the development of history over several centuries. The director of the show is Bahodir Yuldashev, a renowned Uzbek theater and film actor, People's Artist of Uzbekistan, with scientific consultation provided by Academician Edward Rtveladze from the Academies of Sciences of Uzbekistan and Georgia, and Academician Akbar Hakimov from the Academy of Sciences and Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. The project coordinator is Anvar Yuldashev, and the producer is Firdavs Abdukhaliqov. The idea of two renaissances that the land of Uzbekistan has experienced was taken as the basis for the show. The creative team conducted extensive research and sifted through hundreds of books and monographs. German partners were involved in the stylistic and visual aspects of the scenes. Then, storyboarding of all the scenes was done in pencil, and a common musical theme was developed, expertly composed by Uzbek composer Shuhrat Zakirov. Numerous artifact shootings took place in museums and libraries throughout Uzbekistan. Digitization took a considerable amount of time but allowed for the recreation of artifacts in 3D format, a feat that had not been done before in Uzbekistan. The show was preceded by extensive technical and technological preparation. In the past, mapping projections in the world were always displayed on plain surfaces. Basic physics: light is projected onto a wall, and an image appears. However, the Registan Square is adorned with millions of intricate patterns! This presented a complex technological challenge that was tackled by the German company Adhoc, with the involvement of director Thomas Müller and mapping technology specialist Helge Schäfer. Equally demanding and labor-intensive was the installation of unique lighting and sound equipment on Registan Square, which was included in UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2001. The first audiovisual performance was showcased on Registan Square to mark the closing of the 10th anniversary International Music Festival "Sharq Taronalari." The project was implemented with the organizational support of the "Eriell Group."`},S={"vr-project":"Virtual Reality","3d-project":"3D Project"}

Among them are albums dedicated to epigraphic inscriptions on architectural monuments in Karakalpakstan, Andijan, Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Navoi, Namangan, Surkhandarya, Fergana, Khorezm, Tashkent, Tashkent region, as well as photo albums devoted to the architectural-historical complexes of Samarkand - Registan and
4Shah-i-Zinda. Inscriptions on 1500+ epigraphic monuments of Uzbekistan have already been translated. Among the obtained transcripts are poems and poetic expressions, moral teachings, good wishes, wise sayings, names of masters and calligraphers, religious and dedicatory inscriptions, chronograms of historical events, and decrees of rulers. The specialists not only discovered, studied, and deciphered a vast amount of epigraphic material but also corrected and enriched earlier readings and translations of Turkic, Arabic, and Persian inscriptions.',secondary_title:"Publication of Architectural Epigraphy."},U={title:"Cultural Legacy",caption:"The World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Popularization of Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan has published a colorful album dedicated to the unique handcrafted masterpieces of the Karakalpak people.",secondary_title:"Cultural Legacy",library_title:"The Cultural Legacy Library."},C={Documentary_films:"Documentaries",edu_video:"Educational videos",Interview:"Interview",tv_program:"Documentary films with international partners"},M={lecture:"Lectures",podcasts:"Audio podcasts",speech:"Speeches"},W={zoom:"ÐÑигинал: {zoom}",all_collections:"Ðll collections",year:"год"},j={title:"Audio podcast"},P={fullName:"First Name Last Name",phone:"Phone number"},E={required:"Mandatory field",wrong_mail:"Please enter a valid email address."},O={images:"+{count} images ",title:"Congress"},R=" Ðll collections ",L="Ðод",I="Similar books",N="Description",q="Read more",x="Start read",H="Back",B="Comments",D="Mass Media about us",F="All",K="Show more",G="Read article",Q="Book collection",Y="Nothing found",Z="Read pdf",V="Another",J="Original",X="Send",$="Author",ee={placeHolder:"Search",searched:"You searched",empty:"Your search did not yield any results.",all:"All {count}",congress:"Congresses",news:"News",mass_media_news:"Mass Media about us",cultural_heritage:"Cultural Legacy",architectural_epigraphy:"Architectural Epigraphy",architectural_monument:"Catalog of architectural monuments of Uzbekistan",archaeological_monuments_map:"archaeological_monuments_map",cartography:"Cartography",edition_gift_albums:"Gift albums",edition_historical_library:"Historical Library",edition_other:"Other editions",facsimile_edition:"Facsimile editions",handwritten_manuscript:"100 Outstanding Manuscript Masterpieces of Uzbekistan",mahalla:"Mahallas of Uzbekistan",manuscript_114_korans:"114 Qurâans",manuscript_outstanding_manuscripts:"Outstanding Manuscripts of Uzbekistan"},te="Apply",ae="Management Board and Academic Council",ie={title:"We couldn't find the page you're looking for..."},oe={title:"Charter",caption:"Charter of the INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC ORGANIZATION World Society for the Preservation, Study and Popularization of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan ",quote:'Accepted in St. Petersburg on June 8, 2018. Moreover, in the literature on the development of cartographic representations of various regions of the world, Central Asia is still very poorly represented. This publication aims to fill this gap.
