text-base leading-7 text-muted-foreground sm:leading-8 md:text-lg"><p>Dr. Holly Powell-Jones is the founder of Online Media Law UK. She is a qualified criminologist and leading expert in digital safety, media law, and young people.</p><p>She works with schools, businesses, youth groups, and universities to provide award-winning education on the criminal, legal, and ethical considerations for the digital age. In 2018, she completed PhD research investigating youth perceptions of law, crime and risk online.</p><p>Holly has worked across the fields of academic research, policy consultation and professional training in this area, alongside regular lecturing at UK universities. She regularly contributes to media coverage on the topic of online safety and digital legal issues (Tes Magazine, BBC Radio, Channel 5 News, etc.) and has contributed to government and Law Commission reviews into law and policy in this area.</p><p>
1She has been delivering workshops for secondary school pupils on this topic since 2013, educating 30,000+ pupils across more than 100 schools.
