If you have used the site before, it tries to restore your last draft from this browser. You can work directly from that character or open Looks and choose Clover, Mochi, Nova, Fern, Luna, or Sunny.

A starting look replaces the active characterâs outfit while preserving their pose and scene position. Other characters stay in the scene. Undo restores the previous look. Use Randomize below the canvas when you want a different combination. For a character you want to keep permanently, download an editable file before clearing browser data or moving to another device.

Dress up and find pieces

The Dress up tab has ten categories. A new hair, face, or clothing choice replaces the first existing piece in its category. Different accessories can be added together. Selecting an accessory you already wear selects that piece instead of adding another copy; use Duplicate in Layers for an intentional copy.

Search works across the wardrobe, so âhoodieâ finds clothing without first choosing Tops. Tap the heart on a piece to favorite it, then use the heart beside search to view saved favorites across categories. Favorites are stored locally in this browser. If no result appears, clear the search or turn off the favorites filter.

Adjust colors and proportions

Choose a wardrobe item, click the character, or select a named layer. Customize displays that piece's controls. Pick a swatch or use the color picker. For front hair, back hair, and brows, Match all hair to this color applies the selected color to all three categories.

When no piece is selected, the color story buttons apply a coordinated palette across the outfit, hair, and accessories. They preserve skin and eye colors. Size scales a piece around its own center; Rotation turns it. Flip mirrors it horizontally. X and Y are positions relative to the piece's starting location. Positive X moves right and positive Y moves down.

Drag the character's piece for direct movement. Arrow keys move the selected piece one canvas unit; Shift plus an arrow moves it ten. Reset restores its position, size, rotation, and flip while preserving its chosen color. Opacity controls how translucent it appears.

Arrange and protect layers

Open Layers in the right panel. Rows are shown from front to back, so the top row is drawn over lower rows. Select a row and use Bring forward or Send backward to move it one position. Auto arrange restores the standard wardrobe order and keeps imported PNGs in front.

Show or hide makes a piece temporarily invisible. Remove deletes it from the draft; Undo brings it back. Duplicate adds an independent copy slightly offset from the original. Lock position prevents accidental dragging and disables transform controls. You can still select the locked layer and unlock it.

A transparent or hidden piece can be selected in the list even if it is difficult to click on the canvas. If you lose track of a piece, check visibility and opacity, unlock it, then Reset. To remove the dotted selection outline from the editor, use the eye button below the character or press Escape.

Choose a body and pose your character

In Dress up â Body, choose Classic, Soft, Petite, Round, or Tiny. These change shoulder width, torso shape, head proportions, and limb length. Hair and facial features follow the head; clothing adapts to the frame. Body types are separate from the Size control, which scales an individual layer.

Open Pose for 16 starting positions, including Hello!, Heart hands, Sitting down, and A little dance. Drag the dots on the canvas to adjust the head, body lean, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. Moving a shoulder
13carries the elbow and hand with it. Left and right refer to the picture, so the left shoulder is on the left of an unmirrored character.

Expand Fine-tune joints for 12 angle sliders, including ankles. Mirror pose swaps the gesture to the other side. Reset pose returns to standing. Your clothes and colors remain in place, and Undo restores the previous pose. An imported PNG can follow Head, Body, a hand, or a foot using Move with a joint in Customize; it remains a flat picture.

Build a scene with your cast

Choose Studio above the canvas to arrange whole characters. In the Studio tab, select a starter look or a saved character and press Add. A scene holds up to six characters, each with independent clothes, body type, and pose. Click a character in the cast list to make them active. Switch to Character above the canvas for a close-up while keeping the rest of the cast saved.

In Studio view, drag a character or use the position fields, size slider, rotation, and mirror button. Arrow keys move the active character; hold Shift for a larger step. Front and Back change overlap order. Hide removes a character from the scene picture without deleting them. Lock protects scene placement. Fit cast arranges unlocked characters within the frame. Duplicate makes an independent character copy; Remove can be reversed with Undo.

Set a scene name and choose a backdrop or upload your own PNG. Download PNG exports the current canvas: the visible cast in Studio view, or the active character in Character view. Save and Download character file retain the entire project, including other characters, poses, placement, and imported images. Older character files can still be opened.

Create comfortably on a phone

The character preview sits above the wardrobe. Browse the lower panel to keep the current character in view. After selecting a piece, tap Edit details below the canvas. That panel contains the same Customize and Layers controls as the desktop version. Close details with its X to return to the wardrobe.

Pose, Studio, and Your art sit alongside Dress up and Looks. You can download a PNG from below the preview. If a system file picker opens, choose a local file and return to the browser to continue. Closing the detail panel does not remove the selected item or discard an edit.

Import your art and export the result

In Your art, choose or drop a genuine PNG no larger than 4 MB or 4096 Ã 4096 pixels. It becomes a single independent layer. Your imported image retains its colors; it does not get the vector wardrobe color controls. MiniMuse supports up to 80 layers per character.

Use Studio for 12 illustrated backdrops, a custom color, a PNG background, or transparency. Download PNG exports at 1200 Ã 1400 pixels by default. The small arrow beside it opens a preview, three output sizes, and an optional transparent-background setting. Exports include the artwork without selection outlines or editor buttons.

A PNG is a finished image. It cannot restore all of your individual layers. For that, choose Download character file in Your art or in export options. Open character file restores a .minimuse.json backup including its imported PNGs. Invalid files are rejected without replacing the current character.

Know where your characters are saved

Your working draft saves automatically when browser storage is available. Save adds the current version to My projects, with space for 20 projects. Saving the exact same version twice does not consume another slot. Open a character from the collection to resume editing it; Undo restores the draft you had open before it.

Removing a saved character offers Restore inside the collection dialog. Closing the dialog ends that immediate recovery option. Browser storage c

Watch the save status above the canvas and use editable file backups for work you want to keep.

Saved projects stay in the browser where you created them.
