44          <p>I am an associate professor at the&nbsp;<a href="https://ciencia.iscte-iul.pt/authors/ana-espirito-santo/cv" title="Ana Espírito-Santo">Iscte-IUL (Lisbon University Institute)</a>&nbsp;and a researcher at the Centre for Sociological Studies and Research, Lisbon University Institute (CIES-Iscte. I earned my PhD from the European University Institute (EUI, Florence) in 2011 with a thesis on symbolic representation from a gender and comparative perspective.</p>
45          <p>Currently, my research interests are gender and politics, comparative politics and political representation.</p>
