They also added data on actually assembled goods as a separate column and adapted movements to the new details."},{type:"text",content:'When the warehouse got used to the assembly of goods from the handheld device, VIANT specialists started the digitalization of a new operation â "Production", which was previously performed on the actual basis, creating a document in the accounting system manually and entering the performance indicators of the packers for the shift.'},{type:"text",content:"Now the production technologist creates a new document on the handheld device, fills in the necessary accounting data â batch number, performer. Then he scans a unique barcode that identifies the employee performing the operations. In this case, the mobile computer can be used by different people within one document."},{type:"text",content:'For this purpose, integrators developed a mechanism to link ERP users with handheld device users and finalized the barcode indication directly in the document. After the production technologist completes the work on the handheld device, the accounting system automatically generates a fully completed and conducted "Production Report for the shift".'},{type:"text",content:'At the third stage, VIANT automated the planned and actual inventories. The standard document was supplemented with the statuses "Checked on the handheld device", "To unload", "Not to unload". This made it possible to manage the visibility of documents on the mobile computer itself. You could say it is their second smartphone. Line personnel feel their importance in the whole process when their badge is scanned.
