The question of what unites these practitioners is explored trough a transdiscplinary analysis of the most used ritual, the <strong>daily standup</strong>; the most used artifact, the <strong>scrumboard</strong>; and a much less common artifact, the <strong>guide board</strong>. The resulting ehtnology leverages cognitive economy, psychology, engineering and design theory to show that <strong>a fundamental part of âagilityâ resides in the way the development team constructs and shares representations of the production system state</strong>. 76 77 </div> 78 79 <h3 id="abstract_fr" lang="fr">Résumé en français</h3> 80 81 <blockquote lang="fr">Le numérique en général, et le développement logiciel en particulier, est un terrain encore peu exploré par les sciences sociales. Une communauté grandissante en son sein est celle des praticiens des méthodes « agiles », en rupture avec les méthodologies dâhéritage industriel, lourdes et basées sur le contrôle. Une approche anthropologique, sous lâangle de lâethnographie cognitive, permet dâéclairer ce qui fait groupe pour ceux sâidentifiant comme « agilistes ». Ce travail sâappuie sur une analyse transdisciplinaire de lâartefact et la cérémonie les plus répandus dans le milieu : le scrumboard, task board ou « tableau des tâches », et le daily standup ; ainsi que dâun artefact plus spécifique à lâéquipe étudiée, le guide board, ou « tableau des guides ». En enrichissant lâethnologie de notions dâéconomie cognitive, de psychologie, de théorie du design et dâingénierie, on comprend quâune partie des spécificités de lâ« agilité » réside dans la manière dont les représentations de lâétat du système de production sont construites et partagées par lâéquipe technique.
