The project comprised of two recent deep generative models â the Star GAN and the Triple GAN. The Star GAN tackles the unpaired image-to-image translation problem on a given label. A live demonstration. was provided where the user fed in an image of his face along with a parameter for the model to translate (hair color, in our case). This was fed in to a trained Star GAN model and the new image was returned. The Triple GAN focused on conditional image generation on labels learned during training in an unsupervised fashion. The model showed promising results on MNIST and CIFAR-10 for both image generation and unsupervised image classification tasks.</p> 557 558 <p><a href= https://github.com/IEEE-NITK/Generative-Adversarial-Networks class="btn btn-primary btn-outline with-arrow" target="_blank">View on Github<i class="fa fa-github"></i></a></p> 559 560 </div> 561 </div> 562 </div> 563 564 <div class="row colorlib-bg-white project-card"> 565 <div class="col-md-12"> 566 <h3>Handwritten Equation Solver</h3> 567 <div class="desc"> 568 <p>Handwritten Equation Solver was an application design to recognise and solve handwritten mathematical equations. The pipeline consisted of a front android application that captures the handwritten math equation which is then sent to a backend server for all c
568omputations and returns the solutions to the equation back to the android app. In the backend server, the image is pre-processed, and a DFS-based novel algorithm is used in the segmentation of the image. The segmented images are then passed through a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model for recognition. The model used was trained on a math symbol dataset and had achieved 98.88% cross validation accuracy. The spatial locality of the math symbols in the image is then used in the formation of the final equation string which is solved using the SymPy math engine.</p> 569 570 <p><a href= https://github.com/Handwritten-Equation-Solver/ class="btn btn-primary btn-outline with-arrow" target="_blank">View on Github<i class="fa fa-github"></i></a></p> 571 572 </div> 573 </div> 574 </div> 575 576 </div> 577 </div> 578 579 580 </div> 581 </div> 582</div> 583 584 585 586 <!-- Footer --> 587<footer id="colorlib-footer"> 588 <div class="container"> 589 <div class="row footer-row"> 590 <div class="col-md-3 colorlib-widget"> 591 <h4>About IEEE</h4> 592 <p>A not-for-profit organization, IEEE is the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated 593 to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. 594 </p> 595 <p> 596 <img src="/assets/img/ieee_white.png" class="footer-logo" alt="IEEE"> 597 <img src="/assets/img/ieee_nitk_white.png" class="footer-logo" alt="IEEE-NITK"> 598 </p> 599 </div> 600 <div class="col-md-3 colorlib-widget"> 601 <h4 class="secondary">Information</h4> 602 <p> 603 <ul class="colorlib-footer-links"> 604 <li><a href="/"><i class="fa fa-check"></i> Home</a></li> 605 <li><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/team.html"><i class="fa fa-check"></i> Team</a></li> 606 <li><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/blog/"><i class="fa fa-check"></i> Blog</a></li> 607 <li><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/gyan/"><i class="fa fa-check"></i> Gyan</a></li> 608 <li><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/achieve.html"><i class="fa fa-check"></i> Achievements</a></li> 609 <li><a href="publications.html"><i class="fa fa-check"></i> Publications</a></li> 610 <li><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/about-us.html"><i class="fa fa-check"></i> About Us</a></li> 611 </ul> 612 </p> 613 </div> 614 <div class="col-md-3 colorlib-widget"> 615 <h4 class="secondary">SIGs</h4> 616 <div class="f-blog"> 617 <div class="desc"> 618 <h2><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/compsoc.html"><i class="fa fa-laptop"></i> Compsoc</a></h2> 619 </div> 620 </div> 621 <div class="f-blog"> 622 <div class="desc"> 623 <h2><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/diode.html"><i class="fa fa-plug"></i> Diode</a></h2> 624 </div> 625 </div> 626 <div class="f-blog"> 627 <div class="desc"> 628 <h2><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/piston.html"><i class="fa fa-cogs"></i> Piston</a></h2> 629 </div> 630 </div> 631 <br> 632 <h4 class="secondary">Affinity Groups</h4> 633 <div class="f-blog"> 634 <div class="desc"> 635 <h2><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/wie.html"><i class="fa fa-female"></i> Women in Engineering</a></h2> 636 </div> 637 </div> 638 <div class="f-blog"> 639 <div class="desc"> 640 <h2><a href="https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/sight.html"><i class="fa fa-users"></i> SIGHT</a></h2> 641 </div> 642 </div> 643 644 </div> 645 <div class="col-md-3 colorlib-widget"> 646 <h4 class="secondary">Contact Info</h4> 647 <ul class="colorlib-footer-links"> 648 <li><strong>NITK Surathkal</strong><br>NH 66, Srinivasnagar<br>Surathkal, Mangalore<br>Karnataka 575025</li> 649 <li><a href="mailto:[email protected]" target="_blank"><i class="fa fa-envelope"></i>[email protected]</a></li> 650 </ul> 651 <p> 652 <ul class="colorlib-social-icons"> 653 <li><a href="https://github.com/IEEE-NITK" target="_blank"><i class="fa fa-github"></i></a></li> 654 <li><a href="https://www.instagram.com/ieee_nitk" target="_blank"><i class="fa fa-instagram"></i></a></li> 655 <li><a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/IEEENITK" target="_blank"><i class="fa fa-youtube-play"></i></a></li> 656 <li><a href="https://facebook.com/IEEENITK" target="_blank"><i class="fa fa-facebook"></i></a></li> 657 <li><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/ieee-nitk-surathkal" target="_blank"><i class="fa fa-linkedin" target="_blank"></i></a></li> 658 <li><a href="/sitemap.xml" target="_blank"><i class="fa fa-rss" target="_blank"></i></a></li> 659 </ul> 660 </p> 661 </div> 662 </div> 663 </div> 664 <div class="copy"> 665 <div class="container"> 666 <div class="row"> 667 <div class="col-md-12 text-center"> 668 <p>

Line numbers count LF bytes from the start of the resource, as the search results do. Vendor segments are library code the classifier recognised; they are stored but not indexed. Bytes are shown as Latin1 characters, one per byte.
