106 use re3data to identify the most appropriate and impactful repositories 107 to deposit their data. <b>Funders and publishers</b> can use re3data to guide investigators and 108 authors to repositories to meet their requirements for sharing the data that support 109 grant-funded research and publications. <b>Librarians and teachers</b> can use re3data to help 110 patrons and <b>students</b> locate data repositories to support their teaching, learning, and 111 research and to promote data literacy. Other <b>tools and service providers</b> such as DataCite 112 integrate with re3data to integrate information about data repositories into scholarly 113 workflows. 114 </p> 115 <p> 116 You can search and filter data repositories by certification, metadata standards, and 117 any combination of over two dozen facets. Results are displayed with icons that make it 118 easy to quickly identify repositories by common features such as those providing open 119 access, persistent identifiers, or data licenses. 120 </p> 121 <p> 122 re3data shares all of its metadata as open data without restriction using Creative Commons 123 Zero, and it provides an open application programming interface (<a href="/api/doc">API</a>) 124 and other protocols to encourage sharing and integration.
