The next iteration is emerging in Japan, where the <a href="https://plurality.net/read/">Plurality book</a> inspired <a href="https://www.techpolicy.press/japans-team-mirai-uses-tech-to-bolster-democracy-not-undermine-it/">Team Mirai</a>, an independent party using AI to help citizens understand and shape policy.
