85
Small Christian Community Resources

86
Introduction to Small Christian Community

87
The document Fr. Lauer presents small Christian communities as the foundational structure of Christian life, rooted in Scripture, affirmed by Church teaching, and historically powerful for evangelization. These home-based communities embody deep brotherhood and sisterhood, intentional discipleship, and shared daily life. They require strong leadership, a countercultural commitment to Christian values, and connection to the wider Church. The text encourages believers to form and network such communities as a means of renewing the Church and transforming society.

88
"Unless the Lord Build the House..." — Psalm 127:1

89
The document explains how to build small, home‑based Christian communities that reflect the life of the early Church. It draws from Scripture, papal teaching, and decades of practical experience within Presentation Ministries. As the Fr. Lauer writes, Christian community is meant to be “the daily sharing of life in Christ” and a participation in “Trinity unity.”

90
Building Small Christian Communities (Team Manual)

91
This manual trains teams to lead a 12‑week seminar series that moves people from a Life in the Spirit experience into home‑based Christian community life. It emphasizes that prayer groups and renewal programs are only the beginning; the goal is daily shared Christian living, modeled on Acts 2:42–47.

92
Building Small Christian Communities (Guide Book)

93
This guidebook accompanies the 12‑week seminar series for forming home‑based Christian communities. It provides:

94

95

96
Daily Scripture readings

97

98

99
Weekly themes

100

101

102
Spiritual preparation

103

104

105
Practical guidance for entering community life

106

107

108
The guidebook emphasizes that forming Christian community is a miracle of grace requiring deep immersion in Scripture.

109
“We must grow greatly in our faith in the next twelve weeks… or we will not be ready for the Christian community promised to us.”
