It shares the new Infiniti QX56 platform. The 2010 Nissan Patrol is   powered by VK56VD (5.6-litre) V8 with a 400 hp   (298 kW) an 560 N·m (410 ft·lbf), with features such as &quot;VVEL&quot; Variable Valve Event and Lift and   &quot;DIG&quot; Gasoline direct injection, and mated   to a 7-speed automatic transmission. A variable 4wd Mode package allows switching between   4x4 modes: sand, on-road, rock and snow, with the flick of a switch. And   a &quot;Hydraulic Body Motion Control System&quot;
