The upper part has a strong focus on war, battles, weapons. On the ground floor you learn about explorers, danger at sea and rescue. There are guiding lines on the floor for visually impaired people as well as some information in braille. The videos have sign language. There is a lot to read in Estonian or English with QR code for Russian or Finnish. Unpleasant was the visit to the toilet. Sinks were dirty and the whole room smelled very distinctive of sewage.On the ice-breaker it is not clearly enough marked that it is a one-way system. It is narrow and continuously crossing people unpleasant. We were not offered an audio guide nor did we see them. Found out later it would have been EUR 5.- .There are no reduced tickets for pensioners. With EUR 20.- a very steep price, considering it does not even include the audio guide. Having real people relate stories in videos in Estonian and sign language in Estonian or English give a personal touch to the evolution of ice sports and to the use if boats to save victims and refugesWe learned about Estonia heroes and Navigators for all over the world. The i formatio on Estonias struggles for independence over many years , mostly involving marine action. We travelled thru a real submarine, and drive an airplane, and power a small boat. Opportunities to listen to narratives on Estonian or English added to the eventSeveral kids activities including a movie for adults and kids.
