He was strangled with plastic handcuffs or "flexicuffs."<br /> 69<br /> 70Trentadue's family believes that he was tortured for information he did not have, murdered by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during an interrogation about his possible involvement in the Oklahoma City Bombing: Kenneth matched the description of bombing suspect John Doe #2.<br /> 71<br />Following the murder, the Department of Justice (DOJ) immediately deemed it a suicide: <u>before</u> the crime scene had been examined and <u>before</u> an autopsy had been performed by the medical examiner. Within one week of his death, the DOJ issued a press release stating that Kenneth Trentadue had hanged himself, and the massive physical trauma to his body was somehow self-inflicted.<br /> 72<br /> 73The DOJ denied the medical examiner access to the cell where Kenneth Trentadue was killed, and even ordered the cell cleaned and painted thereby destroying the crime scene. The DOJ also repeatedly asked both the medical examiner and Kenneth Trentadueâs family to authorize the cremation of his body. The medical examiner could not legally authorize cremation and the family refused, demanding that Kenneth's body be returned to them.<br /> 74<br /> 75When Trentadue's body was returned to the family, they removed heavy makeup and discovered bruises all over his body, from head to foot. The bruises, cuts, and other wounds depicted an obvious beating and murder. But why?<br /> 76</td></tr></table></center> 77<ul></ul> 78<h1>Mistaken Identity?</h1> 79<center><table border=0 width=88%><tr><td> 80Trentadue was a close match to the description for bombing suspect <a href="https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2007/07/search-john-doe-no-2-story-feds-never-told-about-oklahoma-city-bombing/" target="_new"><u>John Doe #2</u></a>, including an identical dragon tattoo on his left forearm and was also apprehended during the height of the FBI's largest manhunt in history for that suspect.
